Experience Rules: Main Storyline V3

  • For every gold piece worth of nonmagical treasure successfully pulled to safety (out of dungeon or danger area), 1 exp split evenly between the characters (Gained after long rest out of danger area)
  • For every HP of a creature defeated (Killed or otherwise), 1 exp split even between the characters (Gained after short rest).
  • Once in town, players are still able to use the Carouse/Research/Training charts to gain exp, 1 exp/gp spent for that character only. (Gained after check/complications)
  • For every gold piece spent on non-equipment, from living expenses to business transactions. 1 exp/gp spent.
  • Any experience gained from Laughing in the Face of Danger or from use of Inspiration Dice.

  • The defeat (by death or otherwise) of Monsters and Challenges awards a set exp value, which is added up and then divided by the number of players that participated. This total is the amount awarded is awarded after a short rest.
  • For every gold piece spent on non-equipment, from living expenses to business transactions. 1 exp/gp spent.
  • Any experience gained from Laughing in the Face of Danger or from use of Inspiration Dice.

We will be using a something called a PARTY POOL for experience. This pool applies to every character equally.

  • As normal D&D rules: The defeat (by death or otherwise) of Monsters and Challenges awards a set exp value, which is added up and then divided by the number of players that participated. This total is the amount awarded is awarded after a short rest.
  • Any experience gained from Laughing in the Face of Danger or from use of Inspiration Dice.
